हाथी से जुड़े महत्वपूर्ण जानकारी FOR CTET
➠ एक बड़ा( व्यस्क) हाथी 1 दिन में एक 100 किलोग्राम से ज्यादा पत्ते और झाड़ियां खा लेता है।
A large (adult) elephant eats more than 100 kg of leaves and shrubs in a day.
➨ हाथी बहुत कम आराम करता है। यह 1 दिन में केवल 2 से 4 घंटा ही सोता है।
The elephant takes very little rest. It sleeps only 2 to 4 hours in a day.
➠ हाथी को पानी और कीचड़ से खेलना बहुत अच्छा लगता है। क्योंकि ऐसा करने से उसके शरीर को ठंडक मिलती है।
Elephants love to play with water and mud. Because by doing this his body gets cool.
➨ हाथी के कान बहुत बड़े बड़े होते हैं। कान पंखे की तरह होता है। अधिक गर्मी लगने पर हाथी अपने कान को हिला कर हवा करता रहता है।
Elephant ears are very big. The ear is like a fan. When it is hot, the elephant keeps blowing its ear and keeps blowing it.
➠ हाथियों के झुंड में केवल हथनीयां और बच्चे ही रहते हैं। (व्यस्क हाथी झुंड में नहीं रहता है)

➨ हाथी के एक झुंड में 10 से 12 हथनीयां और बच्चे होते हैं।

➠ झुंड के सबसे बुजुर्ग हथिनी पूरे झुंड के नेता होती है।
The oldest elephant in the herd is the leader of the entire group.
➨ हाथी 14 से 15 साल तक ही झुंड में रहता है, उसके बाद वह झूंड छोड़कर अकेले रहने लगता है।
The elephant lives in a group only for 14 to 15 years, after which it leaves the group and starts living alone.
