Teacher Eligibility Test (TET)

Teacher Eligibility Test is the exam which is necessary to pass this exam to become a teacher. If a person wants to become a government teacher, then he has to pass in the Teacher Eligibility Test. Then he can become a teacher, otherwise he cannot become.

TET exam is conducted every year in all the states of India and the students passed in this exam easily become government teachers. The TET exam in all the states is known by the name of that state like:- BTET, UPTET, REET, MPTET ETC.

Central TET: What is CTET Test?

Central TET is also a type of TET exam. This is also a Teacher’s exam. The full form of CTET is Central Teacher Eligibility Test. In Hindi it is called केंद्रीय शिक्षक पात्रता परीक्षा.

Central TET exam is conducted twice in every year. The first exam of Central TET is conducted in the month of July and the second exam is conducted in the month of December. Education Qualification Requirements For CTET.

Eligibility of CTET Exam for Paper 1

  • Candidates must have passed senior secondary or equivalent with at least 50% marks.
  • Also, he/she must have passed or appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education

OR

  • Applicants must have passed senior secondary or equivalent with at least 45% marks.
  • He/she must have passed or appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education, in accordance with NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations, 2002.

OR

  • Aspirants must have passed senior secondary or equivalent with at least 50% marks.
  • They must also pass or appear in the final year of 4- year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).

OR

  • Candidates must have passed senior secondary or equivalent with at least 50% marks.
  • Along with it, they must have a pass certificate of 2 year Diploma in Education (Special Education).

OR

  • A graduation degree in the relevant discipline must be acquired.
  • A certificate of two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known). 

Eligibility of CTET Exam for Paper 2

  • A graduate degree in the relevant discipline must be obtained.
  • Also, the candidate must have passed or appearing in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).

OR

  • A bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks must be acquired.
  • Aspirants must have completed 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).

OR

  • Graduation with at least 45% marks must be done in relevant discipline.
  • He/she must also complete a year in Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard.

OR

  • Candidates must pass Senior Secondary or equivalent with at least 50% marks
  • Also, they must have either passed or appearing in the final year of 4- year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).

OR

  • Candidates must have passed senior secondary or equivalent) with at least 50% marks.
  • Along with it, they must have passed or should be appearing in the final year of 4- year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed.

OR

  • Aspirants must have done graduation with at least 50% marks.
